Montbell Comes to Keswick

Founded back in 1975 by mountaineer Isamu Tatsuno, Japan’s Montbell have spent the last 50 years making super high-quality outdoor gear that’s built to withstand the rigours of the mountains.

Lightweight and technical—but also particularly wearable, it’s maybe not such a surprise that the brand’s gear has developed a true cult following over here since Outsiders started stocking it a few years back.

And now you don’t need to book a flight to Tokyo to visit a fully-fledged Montbell shop—with a new Keswick store stocking everything from their much-loved Superior Down Jackets (that braggadocious name is warranted here) to folding fire-pits. Nice bear too.
